LPS-Hayward is "Intel Schools of Distinction" Finalist

CONGRATULATIONS to LPS-Hayward for this recognition by Intel!  Every year, Intel honors schools demonstrating excellence in math and science education through innovative teaching and learning environments. Up to three high schools throughout the United States are named as finalists in the math and science categories.

Leadership Public Schools is thrilled to announce that LPS-Hayward has been selected as a finalist for the "Intel Schools of Distinction" math competition for 2011!  As a finalist, LPS-Hayward receives a cash award from the Intel Foundation and a trip for a team of 4 to Washington DC in September for the announcement of the winners.

In the words of Intel, "All finalists serve as outstanding examples of leaders preparing tomorrow's innovators." We are incredibly proud of the the teachers and students at LPS-Hayward for their extraordinary achievements in math. Stay tuned for the announcement of the winners in September!"
