Rigorous College Preparatory Academics For All

At Leadership Public Schools, we expect at least 90% of our students to continue on to college.

All students are expected to take a challenging college preparatory curriculum based on the University of California admissions requirements. Course work includes a minimum of:

• 4 years of English.
• 3 years of mathematics.
• 2 years of laboratory science.
• 2 years of history.
• 2 years of a non-English language.
• 4 years of leadership.
• 1 year of art.

We use and will continue to experiment with a number of innovative, research-based programs. For math, LPS uses the College Preparatory Mathematics.

In addition, we believe that co-curricular activities, physical education, and sports are central to a complete education.
