Notice of Job Opportunity

High School Math Teacher needed to organize and instruct students in advanced Mathematics education program in a public school setting. Teach Advanced Placement (“AP”) students upper-level Mathematics subjects with seniority. Assess students’ needs and provide appropriate academic instruction. Establish and enforce rules and procedures to maintain order in classroom for optimum results. Observe and evaluate students’ progress. Plan and conduct academic activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time. Provide educational leadership and assistance in curriculum and instructional development.  Participate in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.

-Requirements: 1) Master’s degree, OR Bachelor’s degree plus 5-year prior work experience, in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related education fields;

2) Additional 2 years work experience in relevant fields;

3) California State Teaching Certification.
