Dear friends of LPS – San Jose,
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! It is with excitement and pride that I join the community of LPS – San Jose for what will surely be another year of growth and success. I am excited to collaborate with the exceptional team of educators at LPS- San Jose, who are undoubtedly committed to the academic and life-long success of the youth in our community.
This year marks a very important milestone for our school – not only are we entering our 8th year of existence, we are also celebrating a monumental API jump of over 75 points! To propel us even further on this positive trajectory, rest assured we will continue to support all students throughout their social, emotional, and academic growth. As educators, we will also continue to reflect on data, assessment, and overall best practices to serve students in the most effective way possible.
On behalf of the staff and faculty of LPS – San Jose, allow me again to welcome you to what will definitely be an eventful school year. After last year’s great academic performance, I am confident we will continue to make great strides as a community and will continue to learn, lead, and succeed!
