Join LPS to create a Teacher Pathway Initiative for youth interested in careers in education
The LPS Teacher Pathway Initiatiave
Many LPS students and alumni are interested in careers in education. They want to give back to their communities and share their passion for learning. LPS was able to help Kelly Palma, LPS Hayward Class of 2011, obtain her teaching credential. There are many more LPS students and alumni like her, ready and excited to begin a career in education.
The Teacher Pathway Initiative will formalize our efforts and increase the level of resources so that we can provide more opportunities for students like Kelly to become the future teachers of LPS. Your donation will help create a pool of passionate educators from within the LPS community – improving not only our schools but growing the next generation of leaders in urban education.
Together, we can solve the teacher shortage!
