Partners, Supports and Advisors

Leadership Public Schools has partnered with the Making Waves Education Program, a tutoring and mentoring program based in Richmond, California. Making Waves provides opportunities for the enrichment, exposure and growth of students through academic coaching and excursions.

Leadership Public Schools is also partnering with BAYCES, the Bay Area Coalition for Equitable Schools, which assists urban schools, school districts, and community groups in the work of creating or redesigning their schools.

Leadership Public Schools is a member of the School Redesign Network at Stanford University. The School Redesign Network is a learning collaborative that helps school leaders to develop a broader knowledge base about school design, teaching and learning, curriculum and assessment, and professional development, and a deeper understanding of the features of schools that have been successfully redesigned to support excellence and equity.

Leadership Public Schools has received initial financial support from several important foundations focusing on educational innovation for underserved youth. This includes support from the NewSchools Venture Fund, the Pisces Foundation, the Full Circle Fund, and the Walton Family Foundation.
